Mariya grew up singing, fell in love with opera in college, and has never looked back. As a professional operatic mezzo-soprano, as well as an educator, she very much enjoys sharing her love for music and singing with audiences and students of all ages and backgrounds. Mariya believes wholeheartedly that music has the potential to change the world for the better, and that music can help people to understand themselves and the world and inspire and motivate us all.
