Violinist and lawyer specialising in legal advice for musicians
Makoto picked up the violin at the age of 5 and joined the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music two years later. She is an award-winning violinist who obtained a First-Class degree at Oxford University in Music and graduated with Distinction and the highest final recital mark in her year for her master’s at the Royal Academy of Music. She continues to perform and teach the violin whilst also being a trainee lawyer specialising in commercial matters. She runs violin masterclasses and can also provide useful advice for musicians from her legal training.
